Summary: This research presents as object the Brazilian socio-historical analysis during
the period of greatest social upheaval in the construction of our national identity, the economic political transformation and the consequences of this process for the black and mixed-race population, having this process a phenomenon that ends with the consolidation of national racism. To this end, we offer a brief historical socio-rescue that corroborates our thesis of structurality of racism, while at the same time that we refer to the works of Alberto Guerreiro Ramos and his political and epistemological confrontation with racism, based on a project of socio-economic integration of the black element in Brazilian society.
By electing Guerreiro Ramos as a reference to this debate, we highlight some
aspects that significantly mark brazilian academic history, first of all, his election would already justify his black condition, add to this, the look of our
intellectuality on the black population (anthropological or culturally) and the
influences of concepts and societal models coming from Western Europe and
the United States, and, not least the stage in which the development of
sociology is found in our country. From this conjuncture that we present the
verification of the structurality of racism, the role of the struggles developed by
black organizations, the role of the State in the perpetuation of racism, as well
as the role that conceptual translations, already specifically denounced by
Guerreiro Ramos in his work \\\\\\\"Sociological reduction\\\\\\\" have on the maintenance and persecution of racism in Brazilian society.
